PART-TIME CELTA COURSE

The first Saturday session falls on the 3rd week. There are 3 consecutive Saturdays and then every other Saturday (weeks 3, 4, 5, 7, 9 & 11).
The syllabus and assessment criteria are laid down by Cambridge University, you are required to observe classes taught by qualifed and experienced teachers (daytime classes). Trainees will also spend time doing guided lesson planning, supervised teaching practice and feedback.

Thursday  6.30 - 9.30pm
(6x) Saturday  10am - 5pm
Attendance:
100% attendance is required.
You will also need to spend a significant amount of additional time on lesson preparation, written assignments and course consolidation. There are 4 written assignments to be completed, requiring a total of about 3000 words.
Assessment is continuous and based on the trainee's teaching practice, written assignments, and overall professional development.
