Learning with SKOLA was a very supportive experience, both during and after the course. While taking the course I was treated as an individual with different needs and skills to be attended to and developed. Overall, my experience with SKOLA was a hugely positive one and has set me up well for my first teaching job. I really enjoyed my time at SKOLA. I learnt so much, it taught me about lesson planning, classroom management and different teaching techniques. I really enjoyed the course and found the learners, trainers and fellow trainees really friendly and approachable. The course sparked my interest in TEFL teaching. Since then I have worked in Spain for 6 months, I have also taught ESOL, done TEFL tutoring and I am now taking my ESOL and literacy PGCE. Thank you so much SKOLA.

One of the best aspects of the course was the type of students - a diverse range of young international students in the centre of London. Most of the students were genuinely wanting to improve their English and forge a life in the UK. In this regard they were the ideal group for the trainee teachers.
